WP1: MANAGEMENT AND TRAINING

Identify the population with a high risk of developing TB.

  • Find specific biomarkers of latency and the risk of progression.

  • Search for a blood signature of progression to active TB using a transcriptomics.

  • Study primary immunodeficiencies by whole-exome sequencing.

WP3.png

Develop, evaluate and determine the efficacy of new rapid methods, cost-affordable, for diagnosing active TB and also monitoring treatment.

  • Diagnostic imaging.

  • Automatic system to read smears.

  • Immunomagnetic microfluidic concentrator and separator of target elements.

  • Metabolomics.

Focus on technologies able to detect multiple targets.

  • Circularized padlock probe amplification and read-out by lateral flow assay.

  • High-throughput detection on a 96-well array.
