World TB Day March 24th 2023

In 2021 an estimated 10.6 million people fell ill with TB.

This #WorldTBDay we are teaming up with ADVANCE-TB COST Action & instead of focusing on the sad numbers, we are putting the spotlight on the many people working together to make those numbers better & end TB.

Here are some of them:

International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2023, February 11

Once more The International Day of Women & Girls in Science has arrived!

As every year, we want to give a big applause and "thank you" to women in science and encourage girls and women to pursue a scientific career. However, this time we also want to remind that women in science still have a shorter, less-well paid research career, they receive smaller research grants, they are underrepresented in high positions,... and these are just a few facts!

Yes, we need to encourage women & girls to engage in science but it is not fair to do so if then they are not valued & acknowledged properly.

We hope you like this year's campaign!

Value, respect and acknowledgement for more women in science!

World TB Day 2022, March 24

Although unwanted, tuberculosis is still here.

World TB Day has arrived once again & the situation remains far from optimal.

The good thing: there is room for improvement & many brilliant & beautiful people working to stop it so, let's go!

International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2022, February 11

The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is here. Once more, from INNOVA4TB, we would like to join the movement to encourage and support girls and women who want to or are already pursuing a career in science as well as acknowledge their work.

It's up to all of us to end gender bias and not just on February 11th but every day.
